St. Croix Montessori School is a 501(c), not-for-profit organization. We provide roughly $60,000 in financial assistance to our families. A Montessori classroom is a balanced environment, every detail designed to foster a joy of learning and peacefulness. As a non-profit, every dollar is invested directly in the people and programs that serve the children and families enrolled in the school.

To meet the needs of all children, takes time, energy, commitment, and money. Our commitment to quality, accessible education is faced with the realities of operating a non-profit school in the economically challenged U.S. Virgin Islands. We rely on the financial generosity and philanthropic efforts garnered outside of tuition in order to meet the gap between tuition revenue and operating expenses, and provide a diverse range of families in need with financial assistance.

St. Croix Montessori raises money through small fundraisers throughout the year, individual sponsors and donations, and our signature event: The Taste of India Dinner Silent Auction

The Taste of India, an annual event that began in 2006, takes place in the spring at a beautiful, private location. Additionally, our generous parents come together to sponsor the breakfasts, raffles, and other events, and we receive donated goods and services from our thriving parent-owned business community. Philanthropy is a vital element of our community, and we ask current families, alumni and their families, and the community at large to consider annual donations to St. Croix Montessori School.
